ABOUT US
The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a pre-medicine club committed to assisting, guiding, and supporting students on their path to medicine. We strive to create a general framework for our members to build off of and/or adjust to their specific needs, along with a foundation of pre-medical resources for our members to thrive from. Such resources include guest speakers, volunteer opportunities, information sessions, workshops, MCAT practice, mock interviews, clinical experience opportunities, and, most importantly, social events. Providing a place for students of similar interests to connect and interact is vital to the success of our members and our club as a whole. Our overall goal is to continue molding and shaping our members to be better prepared than ever before through constant effort, engagement, and communication.

Why AMSA?
I chose AMSA because of the amazing opportunities we have for Pre-Med students like myself. Preparing yourself for medical school applications, interviews, and more can be a very stressful process, but AMSA has so many resources that will help ease the stress. From mentorships to interview practice and more, I will get so much experience that will go a long way in my road to getting into medical school. I am beyond grateful to be president of this amazing club and I cannot wait to help fellow Pre-Med students!

Why AMSA?
I chose AMSA because I am pursuing medical school. My motvation to become a doctor is primarily driven by a desire to be a member of a profession that focuses on helping others, Alongside helping others, I also strive to better my community through service and leadership. I am so excited to be AMSA's Vice President and can't wait to start making a positive change in myself and the association.

Why AMSA?
During my freshman year I wanted to get involved with a group of people who are like minded and a group of students who are able to help guide me during my first years at the University. I also joined because I thought it would be a great place to make friendships with individuals who are goal driven and ambitious to have a career in medicine and to make those connections so I can ask for advice. Overall I joined AMSA becuase I wanted to be a part of a club of individuals who I can grow with and vibe with at the same time as we all are slowly going through the journey of being a Pre-Med student.
